Your privacy in iPublishub-Books
Last updated September 8, 2026
Built around private reading and respectful community
iPublishub-Books keeps personal reading activity separate from community sharing. You choose what you submit publicly, and private features stay tied to your account.
Information iPublishub-Books handles
When you create or use a reader account, iPublishub-Books may handle your account email, display name, optional profile image and bio, private journal entries, saved items, journey progress, event or book interests, community activity, feedback, and newsletter subscription choices.
When you are signed in, basic page-usage events may also be recorded to help operate, troubleshoot, and improve the app.
The current app does not request precise location, contacts, microphone, or camera permissions.
How information is used
Reader data is used to provide the features you choose, such as restoring your journal and saved library, showing journey progress, displaying your chosen community identity, moderating iSHARE submissions, responding to support requests, and sending updates when you subscribe.
Public community content is separated from private reader activity. A journal entry does not become an iSHARE post unless you separately submit community content.
Private reading activity
Your journal entries, saved items, journey progress, saved events, and personal settings are designed to be visible only to your signed-in account.
Journal entries are not published to iSHARE unless you separately choose to create a community post.
iSHARE community content
Community posts and comments can become visible to other readers after moderation. Your own pending submissions remain visible to you while they wait for review.
Use the profile privacy controls to decide how your display name and favorite book appear in community spaces.
Email updates and feedback
If you subscribe for email updates, your email address is stored for the purpose of sending iPublishub-Books updates. Reader feedback is visible to the submitting reader and app administrators so issues can be reviewed and resolved.
Service providers and storage
iPublishub-Books uses Base44 for app hosting, authentication, data storage, file uploads, and related application infrastructure. Information needed to operate these features may be processed through that service.
Book purchases, event registrations, and other external links may be handled by third-party websites. Information you provide on those websites is governed by their own policies.
Data retention
Reader-account data remains available while the account and related records are active. Community moderation records and support information may remain while needed to operate and protect the service.
When a reader completes self-service account deletion, the app removes the reader account and associated reader-owned app data, including a newsletter subscription using the same account email.
Account and data deletion
Signed-in readers can permanently delete their iPublishub-Books account from Settings. The self-service deletion removes the reader account and associated journal, saved-library, journey, profile, community, interest, feedback, and newsletter data.
View account-deletion instructions if you need the full deletion steps or cannot access your account.
External links
Book purchase links, event registration links, and Lauretta's website may open third-party websites. Those sites have their own privacy practices and policies.
Questions or corrections
